The 20th Academic Conference on Digestive Endoscopy in Jiangsu Province, hosted by the Jiangsu Medical Association and the Digestive Endoscopy Branch of the Jiangsu Medical Association, organized by the Changzhou Medical Association, and co organized by the Changzhou Medical Center of Nanjing Medical University, the Second People's Hospital of Nanjing Medical University Affiliated Changzhou, and the Third People's Hospital of Changzhou, was held in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province from January 12-14, 2024.The conference included topics such as ERCP treatment for complex biliary and pancreatic diseases, diagnosis and treatment of early gastrointestinal cancer, liver disease, cleaning and disinfection of digestive endoscopes, and nursing care for digestion and digestive endoscopes. Surgical demonstrations were also conducted on the latest digestive endoscopy techniques, fully demonstrating the latest academic achievements in the field of digestion and digestive endoscopy.

Prior to this, the V1000 electronic endoscope system had undergone the first clinical trial in China at the Digestive Endoscopy Center of Taizhou People's Hospital, and its image quality and operability were highly praised by Director Fu and department doctors.

Director Fu Yiwei gave a brief introduction to the V1000 electronic endoscope system during the meeting and shared many high-definition clinical images collected during the trial. This includes images of routine gastroscopy, colonoscopy, early esophageal cancer, atrophic gastritis, colon adenoma, colon SSL, colon LST with local cancer, ESD treatment, etc. Director Fu presented control images of gastrointestinal lesions in both white light mode and dual color spectral imaging mode (DSI) during the sharing of images. This fully demonstrates the significant effect of DSI mode in highlighting mucosal surface details and lesion scope.
